Mookund Sureka

Mookund Sureka is a final year dual degree student at IIT Bombay, majoring in Electrical Engineering and minoring in Computer Science. Currently, they are a Quantitative Researcher at Quantbox Research, focusing on Graph Convolutional Networks in deep learning. Mookund previously worked as a summer intern at Qualcomm, tuning camera ISP hyperparameters for computer vision applications, and contributed as a researcher at IIT Bombay, modeling histology tissue as a graph for deep learning projects. They have also held the position of Quantitative Trader at Wallsoft Labs and spent a semester studying at DTU in Denmark, visiting 12 countries during that time. Mookund has received multiple awards for their leadership at IIT Bombay and thrives in solving complex problems through analytical thinking and teamwork.
