Rahul Dugar is a quantitative researcher at Quantbox Research since January 2024. Previously, Rahul served as a quantitative trader at AlphaGrep from May 2021 to December 2023 and was a programmer at the Programming and Algorithms Group at IIT Roorkee from January 2018 to May 2021. During a summer internship at D. E. Shaw India in 2020, Rahul developed a Hybrid LSTM + N-gram based Natural Language Processing model and integrated its API into an existing service for real-time inferences. Additionally, Rahul worked as an algorithm and software engineer for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority from December 2018 to July 2019. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, completed in 2021.
