Hugo Paolini

Hugo Paolini has work experience as a Data Scientist at QuantCube Technology since September 2021. Hugo previously worked as a Data scientist intern at Shift Technology from February 2021 to July 2021. In 2020, they served as a Data Scientist Intern at DreamQuark, where they created a Python package to remove gender/racial bias from financial decision-making ML models using Pytorch. Hugo also conducted a study on model explainability metrics and implemented a recommendation algorithm from a research paper.

Hugo obtained a Master in Statistics with a focus on Data Science and Business Analytics from Università Bocconi, starting in 2019 and graduating in 2021.

Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Economics and Finance at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, from 2016 to 2019.

Hugo also completed their Baccalauréat S at Lycée Victor Duruy, spanning from 2014 to 2016.

Additionally, they have obtained several certifications. In 2019, they received certifications such as the Deep Learning Specialization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Sequence Models, all from Coursera. In February 2019, they also achieved a GMAT score of 670 out of 800. Furthermore, in November 2018, they obtained a TOEFL certification at C1 level from The TOEFL® test.
