Michael Welborn

Michael Welborn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and budget administration within the defense sector. Currently serving as a Senior Business Area Manager and Contract Program Manager at Quantech Services, Inc., Michael oversees projects related to the GPS program office and Range & Network Directorate, while also leading cost estimating efforts. Prior to this role, Michael was a Senior Associate at MCR Federal, managing the MILSATCOM Directorate budget and leading budget integrations for the Range & Network Directorate. Michael's career in the United States Air Force spanned from 1996 to 2011, where responsibilities included managing a $4 billion annual budget for major defense acquisition programs and overseeing joint forces planning for budget justifications. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Human Resource Management from the University of Oregon and two Master of Science degrees in Management Information Systems from Webster University.
