Ravi Kumar Kalidindi

Ravi Kumar Kalidindi began their career in 1995 as an Avionics Design Engineer at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where they developed software for target simulation software for a multi mode airborne radar. In 1997, they joined Wipro Technologies as a Senior Software Developer for Nortel Networks Telecom Switches, and was subsequently promoted to Onsite Manager, Project Manager and Technical Manager for the Nokia Mobile Phones account. In 2010, Ravi joined apalya technologies pvt ltd as Head of Platform Dev Team, where they were responsible for developing a MobileTV Platform for 3G Telecom Operators in India. In 2014, Ravi founded MoBhiSure Solutions, an Insurance Tech Startup focused on developing Insurance specific white labeled products. In 2020, Ravi joined Quantela Inc. as Director of Data Science, where they leverage Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision techniques to generate insights and meaningful actions from data collected through IoT devices, Internet Data, Camera Feeds and Satellite Data for Smart Cities and Smart Infra. Ravi Kumar also manages a team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers to develop Spatial, Vision, NLP, Predictive and Prescriptive models.

Ravi Kumar Kalidindi has pursued a variety of educational experiences. Ravi Kumar completed a Postgraduate Program in Artificial Intelligence for Leaders from the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained an E-PGDBM in Business Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune in 2008. Ravi Kumar also earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications from Andhra University in 1995. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Snowflake Data Warehouse from Udemy in 2023, Apache Kafka from Udemy in 2022, and AI for Leaders from the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2021.
