Jonathan Tennyson is an esteemed physicist with extensive experience in academia and industry. As Chief Scientist at Quantemol Ltd since 2004, Jonathan leads scientific initiatives. In parallel, Jonathan has served as Massey Professor of Physics at University College London since 1985, currently holding the position of Head of Department for Physics and Astronomy, with plans to step down at the end of the 2010/11 academic year. Jonathan earned a DPhil in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Sussex (1977-1980) and a BA in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) from the University of Cambridge (1974-1977).

Quantemol was founded by University College London's Prof. Jonathan Tennyson FRS and Dr. Daniel Brown in 2004. We develop unique software tools that bring accessibility to highly sophisticated research codes and unique data. With an expanding research team, Quantemol also provides consultancy services, which are carried out by world leading scientists in their respective fields. Quantemol-DB (QDB): A leading sustainable database capable of modelling the chemical and radiative transport properties of a very wide range of plasma’s. The database contains chemistry data for plasma chemistry modelling with pre-assembled and validated chemistry sets.
