Bernie Stern

Bernie Stern is a seasoned data specialist with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Lead Data Specialist at Quantexa since October 2020, Bernie previously worked as a Senior Developer at Crowe from February 2018 to October 2020, utilizing big-data technologies such as Scala, Spark, and Hadoop to combat fraud in the financial sector. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Fusion Alliance and Angie's List, where Bernie developed RESTful APIs and new web applications. Earlier experience includes software development internships and co-op positions, with a foundational education in Software Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, culminating in a BS degree in 2011.
