Dan Pryer

Dan Pryer is a Senior Engineer currently working in the R&D department at Quantexa since January 2022. In addition to this role, Dan serves as the Academy Lead in the Data Engineering Academy at Quantexa, where responsibilities include providing training and support, delivering lectures and workshops, conducting candidate assessments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in an Agile environment. Dan has experience as a Doctoral Tutor at the University of Sussex, where contributions included teaching undergraduate physics modules and marking assessments during PhD studies. Previously, Dan worked as a Data Manager at RSA, developing a new MI suite using Excel and VBA, and as a Business Analyst at Legal & General, focusing on business improvement projects using Lean methodology. Dan holds a PhD in Astronomy - Cosmology and a Master of Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Sussex.
