David Walsh

David Walsh is an Engineering Manager at Quantexa since October 2023, bringing extensive experience in software engineering and data analytics. Previously, Walsh served as a Senior Data Engineer at Quantium, where leadership was demonstrated by guiding a team in developing Spark and Scala applications for finance. Prior roles at BT included Head of Software Engineering, overseeing senior engineers in building complex data processing systems for cyber-security, and earlier positions as a Cyber Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on big-data technologies and streaming data frameworks. Walsh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Cardiff University, completed in 2012.
