James Mellor is the Head of Forecasting & Financial Analytics at Quantexa since June 2023, following a successful tenure at Oakbrook from September 2014 to June 2023. At Oakbrook, James progressed through various leadership roles, including Senior Leadership Team member, where responsibilities included company leadership and restructuring, as well as leading the Commercial Analysis function and creating the marketing analytics reporting function. James developed expertise in structured finance deals during this time. Prior experience was gained at Capital One as a Senior Business Analyst, engaging in product design and market strategy across various teams, following initial experience as a Business Analyst in the Retail Deposits team. Academic credentials include a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Industrial Mathematical Modelling from Loughborough University.
