Steven Gold

Steven Gold is an experienced data engineer currently serving as Lead Data Engineer at Quantexa since September 2019, having progressed through various roles from Associate Consultant to Senior Data Engineer. Prior to this, Steven gained valuable experience as a Summer Student at The Institute of Cancer Research, developing a plugin for the XNAT web application under Dr. Simon Doran. Additional experience includes a role as Telephone Administrator at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where communication with the public for blood test appointments was key, and a Junior Administrator position at Caldwell and Braham Accountants, which involved office organization and financial forecasting using Microsoft Excel. Early career exposure was acquired through a work experience placement at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where Steven observed the radiotherapy department's operations. Steven holds a Master of Physics degree from the University of Warwick, completed in 2019.
