Stuart Riley

Stuart Riley has extensive experience in technology and finance, having held significant leadership roles at major financial institutions. Initial experience includes serving as Technology Manager for FX eCommerce at RBS and subsequently as Head of Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Technology at Deutsche Bank. At Citigroup, roles expanded to include Global Head of Markets and Securities Services Technology and Co-Chief Information Officer, overseeing various technology functions within Global Markets. Currently, Stuart serves as Group CIO of HSBC, managing a large team focused on engineering and cyber excellence, while also contributing as a Board Member at Quantexa and an advisor at Hivenet. Additionally, involvement extends to BP's Digital Advisory Council, emphasizing strategic digital opportunities. Stuart Riley holds a degree from Bournemouth University.
