Renée van der Winden

Junior R&D Engineer at Quantib

Renée van der Winden has a diverse work experience. Renée is currently working as a Junior R&D Engineer at Quantib since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Technische Universiteit Delft from 2017 to April 2022, where they assisted in various courses related to Electronic Instrumentation, Computational Science, Physical Biology of the Cell, and Modelling Dynamical Systems. Renée also interned at Quantib from September 2020 to January 2021, where they worked on the development of an automatic segmentation algorithm for specific brain components. In 2019, Renée served as the Team Captain for iGEM TU Delft.

Renée van der Winden is an individual with a strong educational background in the field of Nanobiology. Renée completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Nanobiology from Delft University of Technology from 2018 to 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nanobiology from the same university from 2015 to 2018.

In addition to their academic degrees, Renée has also obtained several certifications in various domains. In October 2021, they completed the CodeRefinery Workshop at the Netherlands eScience Center. In July 2020, they obtained a certification in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Washington. Moreover, in June 2020, they completed Introduction to C++ (DEV210x) from Microsoft. Lastly, they obtained the First Certificate in English (FCE), Grade A from Cambridge Assessment English in August 2011.
