Kay Chen

Kay Chen's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as a Java Web Developer at Xiamen Airlines. In 2011, they transitioned to a role as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Xiamen Airlines. From 2012 to 2016, Kay Chen worked as an Intermediate Software Engineer at Xiamen Airlines, where they focused on product development, management, analysis, and design. They also reconstructed and upgraded the company's flight operation control system. Starting in 2016, Kay Chen became a Senior Software Engineer at Xiamen Airlines, managing a team of 11 people and being responsible for the development, maintenance, and refactoring of Flight Operation Control products and systems. They also improved application availability using server logs analysis and alert alarms. In 2020, Kay Chen took on the role of Chief Domain Architect at Xiamen Airlines, where they managed the airline operational security domain architecture team and were responsible for analyzing business processes and functions and reviewing technical solutions. They also led technical enhancements using micro-services, cloud computing, and continuous integration and delivery. Most recently, in 2023, Kay Chen joined Quantifi Photonics as a Senior Software Engineer.

Kay Chen's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Xiamen University. From 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the same university. In 2010, Kay Chen joined the University of Melbourne to pursue a Master of Engineering in Software Systems Engineering.
