Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith has extensive work experience in the field of network security and infrastructure management. Christopher currently holds the position of Senior Network Security Engineer at Quantifind, where they started in December 2022.

Prior to joining Quantifind, Christopher worked as the Senior Director of Network/Security Engineering and Architecture at Yapstone from February 2020 to November 2022. In this role, they built and managed international infrastructure teams, provided direction for AWS network and security services, and led the migration of PCI applications and data to AWS and Azure cloud services. Christopher also conducted infrastructure audits for company acquisitions.

Before Yapstone, Christopher served as the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Services at AssetMark Inc from May 2016 to October 2019. Christopher built and managed various infrastructure teams, including production operations, database administration, network engineering, system engineering, cloud engineering, and information security. Christopher was involved in deploying and managing AWS and Azure cloud foundations, implementing cloud security and governance policies, and migrating applications and services to the cloud.

From 2005 to 2016, Christopher worked at Safeway.com as a Senior IT Manager. Christopher was responsible for managing ecommerce and corporate websites, customer service, and mobile ecommerce and application support teams. Christopher also developed third-party service contracts and solutions.

Earlier in their career, Christopher worked as a Network Consultant at Robert Half Technology from 2000 to 2005. Christopher provided project management and network consulting services to clients, designed and launched new networks, and supported servers and workstations for various clients including Safeway, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Cypress, Verizon, and MSRC.

Christopher also has experience as the owner of Chris Smith Consulting, where they provided LAN consulting and PC support services, prepared proposals for clients, and designed and installed desktops, servers, and network solutions for enterprise customers.

Christopher'scareer began at Thibault & Associates in 1995, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer until 1997. Christopher then served as the IT Director at Harris Brettal Sullivan and Smith LLC from 1997 to 1998.

Christopher Smith obtained an Associate's Degree in Network Technology from Heald College-San Francisco from 1996 to 1997. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a certification in ITIL - Information Technology Infrastructure Library from HP in April 2010.
