Cameron F. is a Quantum Cryptography Researcher at Quantinuum, where they develop secure quantum protocols tailored for contemporary technology. Their research emphasizes (semi-)device-independent quantum cryptography and randomness extraction, crucial for secure quantum communication. At Quantinuum, Cameron contributed to the creation of Quantum Origin, the first certifiable quantum random number generator. They hold a PhD in Quantum Information Theory from University College London, where their thesis focused on resource-efficient quantum cryptography, and a first-class Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Exeter. Additionally, Cameron serves as a mentor for the Quantum Open Source Foundation and Q-munity and has extensive experience as a beach lifeguard with the RNLI.
