Dr. Travis Thompson

Dr. Travis Thompson is a Software Engineer at Quantinuum since November 2022, with prior experience as a Software Consultant at TNG Technology Consulting from November 2020 to November 2022. Dr. Thompson served as a Doctoral Researcher at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from June 2015 to May 2020, focusing on the development of electronic structure methods within a C++ based molecular simulation software package. Earlier experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in early 2014, contributing to software and method development for surface chemistry simulations. Dr. Thompson holds a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry, a Master's degree in Theoretical Chemistry, and Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics with a Minor in Theoretical Physics and in Chemistry and Biochemistry, all from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
