Dylan Rinker

Dylan Rinker is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at Quantinuum since October 2024. Prior to this role, Dylan worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Outrider, where responsibilities included designing and building components for driverless electric vehicles from concept to production, utilizing CAD for structural components and tooling. Experience at ViaSat Inc. as a New Product Introduction Engineer involved product development and tooling design using Solidworks. Earlier roles include a Dock Hand at Grand Lake Marina, where Dylan managed boat repairs and customer service, and an Engineering Intern at Western States Fire Protection, focusing on sprinkler system designs and coordination with fire authorities. Dylan also gained instructional experience as a Sailing Instructor at Grand Lake Yacht Club. Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
