Imran Bashir

Imran Bashir is a Principal ASIC Engineer at Quantinuum, specializing in quantum control and readout architectures. With over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, they have held various roles, from individual contributor to IC design team lead, across markets such as cellular, IoT, and quantum computing. At Equal1 Labs, where they served as VP of Analog Engineering, they designed cryogenic electronics integral to quantum processor units. Imran holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, as well as additional degrees from San Jose State University and The University of Texas at Arlington. They are committed to continuous learning, participating in courses and presenting research at prominent conferences.
