Joseph Davies is an accomplished R&D Manager at Quantinuum since June 2022, focusing on the design and fabrication of ion traps for quantum computing. Prior to this role, Joseph served as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Physicist at NVE Corporation from March 2009 to June 2022, where expertise was centered on developing nanoscale magnetic materials for advanced technology applications. Joseph also held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from April 2007 to February 2009, specializing in magnetic characterization techniques. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Honeywell, where development of embedded software for commercial avionics took place. Joseph earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Davis, and a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Hamline University.
