Justin Bohnet is an R&D Manager at Quantinuum, specializing in the design and implementation of next-generation quantum computers. Previously, they served as the system lead for H1-1, overseeing its design, build, launch, and operations. Justin conducted experimental research on collective effects in cold atoms as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder and delved into quantum simulation with trapped ions during their postdoctoral tenure at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Their early academic work included studies on magnetic phase transitions and fluorescence spectroscopy. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Northern Iowa and a Ph.D. in Atomic/Molecular Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
