Peter Rhodes

Peter Rhodes is a highly skilled physicist with extensive experience in the fields of quantum computing and optical engineering. Currently serving as Physicist II at Quantinuum since December 2021, Peter oversees the development of complex ultra-high vacuum (UHV) chambers for ion trapping quantum computers, ensuring the integration and performance of quantum computer subsystems. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Technician at Honeywell, where Peter contributed to laboratory maintenance and project support, and Engineering Researcher at XUV Lasers, focused on heat exchanger development for solid-state laser systems. Peter holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Lasers and Optical Engineering from Colorado State University, complemented by a minor in Physics and Business Administration.
