Ryan Daniel

Ryan Daniel is a Sr. Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at Quantinuum since April 2018, focusing on the design and development of hardware for trapped-ion quantum computers. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicists on advanced systems, designing cryogenic systems, and creating comprehensive design packages. Ryan has also been a DJ/Production Engineer at Massive Entertainment since January 2014, orchestrating large-scale events and programming audiovisual displays. Prior experience includes a role as a Mechanical Engineer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where Ryan designed cryostats and test fixtures, and a research fellowship that contributed to the Materials Genome Initiative. An Engineering Peer Advocate at the University of Colorado Boulder provided additional engagement in advising fellow students. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2017.
