Stefan Mattsson

Stefan Mattsson worked as a Software Developer at Quantistry starting in April 2021. In this role, they implemented scientific methods into the Quantistry software to contribute to a toolbox for calculating various properties related to chemical and material science processes. Previously, Stefan worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Freie Universität Berlin from May 2016 to November 2020. Their work focused on quantum chemical computational modeling in fields such as electrochemistry, materials, and surface processes, utilizing state-of-the-art scientific software and high-performance computation and data analysis techniques.

Stefan Mattsson began their education journey at Lund University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Stefan then moved on to Freie Universität Berlin and pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry, completing it from 2013 to 2016. Stefan continued their academic path at the same institution, Freie Universität Berlin, and obtained their Doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in Theoretical Chemistry from 2016 to 2020.
