Ian Wixom currently serves in an Engineering Directorate Support role at Axient since January 2023 and has been a Mathematics Tutor at the University of Utah College of Science since September 2021. Wixom held the position of Board Director of Student Immersion and Outreach with the Associated Students of the University of Utah from April 2022 to April 2023, where significant advocacy work was conducted for post and non-traditional students. Previous experience includes serving as a Resident Advisor for University of Utah Housing & Residential Education, a Junior Technical Research Aide at Argonne National Laboratory, and an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Utah. An internship at NASA Ames Research Center involved the development of a data visualization tool for satellite trajectories. Wixom earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and International Studies from the University of Utah and previously studied International Relations at Brigham Young University.
