Jon Cox

Jon (Rylan) Cox is a Technical Director of Analysis at Canvas, bringing 16 years of experience in ground testing and data analysis, including areas such as thermal protection systems and hypersonics aerothermal testing. Previously, Jon held positions as a Metallurgical Engineer at National Aerospace Solutions and a Test Analyst at Aerospace Testing Alliance, where they supported turbine engine testing and analysis. Jon also served as Technical Director of Analysis at Axient, leading analysis efforts under a contract at Arnold Engineering Development Complex. They hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Space Institute and have previously conducted research at Tennessee Technological University, earning both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
