Robert Olipane

Robert Olipane currently serves as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer and Cyber Business Development Lead at Astrion, starting in October 2023. Prior to this, Robert held significant roles at Space Systems Command from December 2019 to August 2023, including Chief of Staff in the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Robert's extensive experience in the United States Air Force spans from October 2003 to December 2019, during which roles included GPS Cybersecurity Branch Chief, Cyber Operations Liaison Officer, and Director of Operations for various squadrons. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside. Robert's academic work focused on cybersecurity, specifically thesis research on bot-network detection on Android devices.
