Anver Miller

Anver Miller has extensive work experience in the field of IT and project management. Anver started their career as a Computer Technician at Sun International in 1993, providing IT support to hotels and guest facilities. Anver then worked as a Field Engineer, Technical Supervisor, and IT Workshop Manager at Enhanced Systems, where they were responsible for technical support and installation of computer and networking equipment. Anver also worked as a Consultant at Advanced Desktop Solutions, where they were contracted for special projects for corporate clients.

In 1999, Anver joined Avon as a Senior Technical Analyst and IT Project Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of Avon's IT strategy. Anver was involved in the day-to-day operation of Avon's IT and communication network across global and regional offices. Anver procured and managed computer equipment for the local and regional offices.

Anver later worked as a Group IT Manager at Westhouse, where they managed a global team and strengthened the IT infrastructure through implementing new technologies. Anver was responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair.

In 2011, Anver became a Self-Employed IT Consultant, providing consulting services to various clients. Anver then joined Discovery Limited as a Project Manager in 2014 and later joined Quantium in the same role in 2018.

Throughout their career, Anver has demonstrated their expertise in project management, IT strategy, technical support, and hardware/software management.

Anver Miller has a diverse education history with a focus on project management. In 1986, they completed their Matric from CJB Senior Secondary School. Following this, in 1992 and 1993, they pursued an Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician National Diploma at Johannesburg Tech. Anver further enhanced their project management skills by obtaining a PRINCE 2 Practitioner degree in 2013 from PM Academy. In 2016, they attended PM Academy again and attained a PMP (Project Management Professional) degree. Anver's dedication to project management is evident through their additional certification as a Project Management Professional, which they obtained from the Project Management Institute in May 2016.
