Deepan Kumar

Deepan Kumar started their work experience in 2019 as an Academic Tutor at UNSW, where they provided clear and detailed explanations of complex problems to two classes of 40+ students. Deepan then moved on to CSIRO's Data61 as a Research and Development Engineering Intern, where they developed a Virtual Reality visualization tool for wheat genetic datasets and implemented algorithms to efficiently analyze large datasets. In 2020, they became a Research Intern at UNSW and later joined Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) as an Engineering Cadet. Currently, Deepan is working as a Graduate Software Engineer at Quantium.
