Deepan Kumar started their work experience in 2019 as an Academic Tutor at UNSW, where they provided clear and detailed explanations of complex problems to two classes of 40+ students. Deepan then moved on to CSIRO's Data61 as a Research and Development Engineering Intern, where they developed a Virtual Reality visualization tool for wheat genetic datasets and implemented algorithms to efficiently analyze large datasets.
