Gareth Smith is a Lead Consultant in Quantium’s Insurance team, specializing in Valuation and Capital while supporting Commercial Lines Pricing projects. With over 14 years of experience at Zurich in the UK and Australia, they held various roles, including Certifying Actuary for the Singapore entity. Gareth's career includes a strong focus on Pricing and Reserving, particularly in short-tail classes and Natural Catastrophe pricing, alongside a commitment to team leadership and employee wellness initiatives. They earned a First in Mathematics with Management from the University of Exeter and became a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
