Matt Bourgeois is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Quantium since April 2022. Previously, Bourgeois held the position of Lead Data Scientist at RUBIX from May 2021 to April 2022 and worked at IBM as a Data Scientist and Developer between January 2019 and May 2021. Matt began his journey in data science as an Undergraduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Griffith University from July 2017 to December 2018 and co-founded Griffith Innovate, where responsibilities included connecting clients with researchers in the AI, IoT, and VR sectors. Additional experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at The Global Work & Travel Co., focusing on AI and analytics for advertising and financial data. Bourgeois holds a Master of Data Science from UNSW, completed in 2022, and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Griffith University, along with further education from IBM AI Skills Academy.
