Robert Rubio

Robert Rubio is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in infrastructure management and operations. Currently serving as VP of Infrastructure and Head of Infrastructure at Quantlab Group since March 2017, Robert oversees the strategy and execution of information technology across various teams and technical projects. Prior to this, Robert worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center from October 2001 to March 2017, where responsibilities included managing multiple teams in Data Center Operations, Storage, Backup and Recovery, and High Performance Computing, along with a role as Systems Analyst III focusing on laboratory informatics and desktop support. Robert began a career in IT at CHRISTUS Health between February 1997 and April 2001, initially as a LAN Administrator and later promoted to Supervisor of Operations. Robert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Applied Computer Science from Northcentral University, earned between 2010 and 2013.
