Rabin B has a long and varied work experience. Rabindranath (Rabin) began their career in 1985 as a Management Trainee at Sundaram Clayton Limited. In 1987, they became an Area Manager at Norsk Data. In 1989, they were appointed as Director at Fourth Dimension Technologies Private Limited. In 1998, they became a Director at Congruent Solutions. In 2006, they took ownership of Kadamba Technologies Pvt Ltd, where they built a delivery centre from scratch to deliver data derived off video inputs to a very niche specialized international market. This centre has completed 9 years' successful operation with a team-size going up to 250 during peak period. In 2018, they became a Partner at Grey Matter & Greenbacks, an angel investing and mentoring firm set up by 4 senior professionals. In 2019, they co-founded Quantrium.

Rabin B began their education in 1972 at the DAV Higher Secondary School Chennai, where they obtained their AISSE in 1977. Rabindranath (Rabin) then attended the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they obtained a B.E. (hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1983. Finally, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where they obtained an MBA in 1985.
