Marcus Doherty

Marcus Doherty is a Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Quantum Brilliance, leading the research and development of scalable diamond quantum computers. Marcus is also a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the Australian National University, focusing on optical defects in semiconductors for quantum technology applications. In addition, Marcus has extensive military experience as an Army Reserve Officer in the Royal Australian Infantry Corps and the Royal Australian Army Education Corps. Marcus has also worked as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Stuttgart and held various tutoring and consulting roles in physics. Marcus holds a Ph.D. in Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
