Torsten Rendler has extensive work experience in the field of quantum engineering and software engineering (data science). Torsten is currently working as a Quantum Engineer at Quantum Brilliance since 2022. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer (Data Science) at CLADE, where they played a crucial role in digitizing liquids through the development of measurement hardware and analysis software.
Before joining CLADE, Torsten worked at Universität Stuttgart from 2009 to 2019 in various roles. Torsten was a Postdoctoral Scientist from 2018 to 2019, where their responsibilities included prototyping quantum sensor assemblies and collaborating with industry partners to explore applications for room-temperature quantum sensors. Additionally, as a Research Associate from 2009 to 2018, they focused on topics such as quantum optimal control schemes, in vitro temperature sensing utilizing nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers, and chemical sensors based on NV centers in diamond.
Throughout their career, Torsten has demonstrated expertise and versatility in the field of quantum technology and data science.
Torsten Rendler completed their education at the University of Stuttgart. Torsten obtained a Diplom degree in Physics from 2002 to 2009. Later, they pursued further studies and earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physics from the same university, completing it in 2018.
