Quantum Applications Engineer at Quantum Circuits

Trevor Keen has extensive work experience in research and teaching roles. Trevor is currently working as a Quantum Applications Engineer at Quantum Circuits, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from May 2019 to September 2022. Trevor also served as a DOE SCGSR Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy from November 2020 to November 2021. Trevor gained valuable teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee from August 2017 to May 2019. Trevor began their research career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Southern Illinois University in August 2013, where they worked until August 2017. Additionally, they participated in the McNair Scholars Program at SIUC as a Summer Intern in May 2016.

Trevor Keen's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Physics, both obtained from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 2013 to 2017. Trevor then pursued higher studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics from 2017 to 2020. Continuing their academic journey at the same institution, Trevor Keen completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Trevor has obtained a certification in EFSET 74 Proficient (CEFR C2) from EF Education First.
