Nick Chancellor has a diverse work experience in the field of quantum computing and research. Nick is currently working at Quantum Computing, Inc. as part of the advanced technology team since April 2021. Prior to this, they had various roles at Durham University including Teaching Fellow, EPSRC UKRI Innovation Fellow, and Research Associate from June 2018 to present, and from January 2016 to June 2018 respectively. Before joining Durham University, Nick worked as a Research Associate at London Centre for Nanotechnology from September 2013 to December 2015, where they conducted experimental and theoretical research in adiabatic quantum computation and spin models, including collaborations with the D-wave 2 quantum chip.
Nick Chancellor completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics with a specialization in Physics from the Colorado School of Mines in 2007. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics, which they completed in 2013.
