Prajnesh Kumar, PhD

Prajnesh Kumar, PhD has worked in various roles in the field of technology, starting from 2005. Prajnesh worked as a Software Engineer at Sasken from July 2005 to February 2006, where they gained knowledge in VLSI domain and underwent training in verilog coding. Prajnesh then worked as a Senior R&D Engineer at Tejas Networks from February 2006 until September 2008. From September 2008 to June 2016, they worked at Intel as a Hardware Design Engineer, Hardware System Engineer, and Display and Camera Technologist. Prajnesh'sresponsibilities at Intel included component selections, circuit design, schematics entry, layout ownership, placement, routing & layout reviews among others. Prajnesh then joined Stevens Institute of Technology in August 2016 as a Researcher, with key responsibilities involved in research work. Prajnesh worked as a Research Assistant at the same institute from January 2019 until July 2023. Prajnesh then joined Quantum Computing Inc. in 2023 as a Quantum Technology Lead.

Prajnesh Kumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, obtained in 2005. Prajnesh then completed a Master's degree in Embedded System Design at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2010 to 2014. In 2016, Prajnesh received their Master's Degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Prajnesh is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics at Stevens Institute of Technology and is expected to complete it by 2023. Prajnesh also holds several additional certifications from Coursera and Lynda.com in subjects such as machine learning, neural networks, and deep learning. Prajnesh also completed a Certificate course in Artificial Intelligence from edX.
