Vania López

Vania López has diverse work experience in various roles. Vania is currently working as a Community Manager at Quantum.Amsterdam and Centre for Quantum and Society since August 2022. In 2022, they also worked as a Communications Intern at KNAW - Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen from February to September. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Journalist, Press Reporter, and Press Reporter/Community Manager at Periódico Guerrillero and Guerrillero Newspaper. From 2014 to 2020, they served as a Community Manager at Centro de estudios para el Desarrollo Sostenible and as an Educador Popular at UNICEF Cuba. Vania also worked as a Community Manager/Press Reporter at Tele Pinar from 2015 to 2017 and as an English Language Teacher at Escuela de idiomas Andres Bello from 2015 to 2016.

Vania López has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Universidad de Pinar del Rio, which they received in the years 2010-2015. Vania then pursued further education and obtained a master's degree in Journalism from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole during 2020-2021. Additionally, they completed an Erasmus Mundus Master Degree in Journalism from Aarhus University in the year 2020-2021. Presently, Vania is attending the University of Amsterdam, where they are pursuing a master's degree in Politics and Communication from 2021 to 2022.
