Voice Engineer at Quantum Leap

Joe Rysdyk is currently a Voice Engineer at Quantum Leap. Prior to that, they were an Adv. Network/ShoreTel Engineer - Remote Grand Rapids for KTS Networks from April 2015 to April 2017. There, they provided level 2 and 3 remote support and troubleshooting for ShoreTel customers across the country – utilizing layer 3 Adtran/HP/Cisco networking equipment, Sonicwall/ASA firewalls, and Windows/Linux/Mac/Thin-client environments. Joe also implemented new customer sites including design, installation, and configuration – Using Cisco/Adtran networking equipment, ShoreTel IP phone systems, VMWare, and various Windows server configurations.

At MOSS from April 2017 to April 2020, Joe was a Project Manager/Senior Voice Engineer. There, they worked to install and maintain Advanced and 3rd Party ShoreTel applications including Mobility, ECC, ShoreTel Call Recorder, XIMA Call Recorder/Reporting, etc. Joe also maintained multiple trunk-type environments – including SIP w/ SIParator and virtual trunk switches, PRI/TI, Analog, and SIP tie trunks. Joe completed backups and upgrades on a timely, and convenient basis. Joe obtained training and received advanced certifications for ShoreTel UC Solution while at MOSS.

Joe Rysdyk has a bachelors of science in network security from Davenport University. Joe is certified in 8x8 deployment and support, SonicWall technical master, and SonicWall network security administrator. Joe is also certified in Hewlett Packard enterprise switching associate, ShoreTel contact center support engineer, ShoreTel UC support engineer - connect, and ShoreTel certified implementation specialist.
