Nathan E. Stott is an accomplished professor and senior research director with extensive experience in the fields of quantum dots, nanomaterials, and semiconductor research. Currently serving as a Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences since October 2020, Nathan holds multiple prestigious titles including Principal Research Fellow and National Thousand Talents. Concurrently, Nathan has been the Senior Director of R&D at Quantum Materials Corp since December 2015, where leadership in developing cutting-edge Cadmium-Free Quantum Dot materials has been demonstrated. Previous roles include significant positions at renowned institutions such as Seoul Semiconductor, Pacific Light Technologies, Air Force Research Laboratory, and Samsung Electro-Mechanics, where Nathan contributed to advancements in materials development and innovative research methodologies. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a summa cum laude B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Arizona.
