Bart Roose

Bart Roose is a Senior Device Engineer at Quantum Solutions, where they lead X-ray detector research efforts. With a decade of experience focused on halide perovskites and charge collecting layers for solar cells, photodetectors, and X-ray detectors, Bart previously served as a Newton International Fellow at the University of Cambridge from 2017 to 2020. They obtained a Master of Science in Chemistry from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, where they also completed a PhD on engineering metal oxides for UV-stable perovskite solar cells. Bart's early research included internships at Radboud University Nijmegen and the University of Cambridge, specializing in polymer synthesis and sensitized solar cells.
