Dan Shewman

Dan Shewman is an experienced manager specializing in inventory planning and logistics. At Avnet since April 2021, Dan leads the Service Inventory Planning and Inventory group, focusing on productivity, process control, and resource management. Prior to this, Dan managed service logistics at Quantum since 2004, successfully overseeing a $15M budget for a project that resulted in significant operational savings by transitioning distribution centers to a 3PL vendor. Earlier experience includes serving as Distribution Manager at Styro-tech Inc. from June 2002 to March 2004, where Dan developed a high-performing staff to enhance operational efficiency. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American History from Luther College.
