Dougal Matthews

Dougal Matthews is a software engineer at Quantum since April 2021 and has been a senior technical support engineer at Square Box Systems Ltd. since September 2012. Dougal maintains a freelance broadcast IT professional role since July 2012, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of edit suites, storage, networking, render farms, and graphics workstations. Previously, Dougal served as systems manager and senior systems administrator at 422 South Ltd, an award-winning UK visual effects and animation company, where responsibilities included infrastructure support, security management, and content archiving. Dougal holds an MSc in Computer Aided Graphical Technology Applications from Teesside University and a BSc (Hons) in Engineering Product Design from London Southbank University.
