James C. Clancy is an accomplished executive with a proven track record in global data protection and cyber recovery solutions. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at Dell and EMC, including President of Global Storage Sales at Dell and Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Dell EMC’s Data Protection Solutions. In these roles, he consistently exceeded growth targets, developed high-performing teams, and implemented innovative go-to-market strategies that expanded market share and improved operational efficiency worldwide.

Today, James partners with early-stage technology companies, guiding them through growth journeys with tailored strategies, comprehensive coaching, and strong partner ecosystem development. He is recognized for his ability to mentor teams, foster inclusive workplace cultures, and build collaborative networks that accelerate business success.

James earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Amplex and Index Engines.
