Kenneth Nelson is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Software Engineer V and SW VI Principal at Quantum since August 2011, providing engineering support for various software and systems within the StorNext Sustaining team, including the Object Storage system, Lattus. Prior to this role, Kenneth worked as the Lead Systems Analyst at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from January 2000 to August 2011, responsible for the design, configuration, and support of Linux, Windows, and Apple servers in the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as developing a LAMP-based student database for the Math department. Kenneth holds a PhD in High Energy Physics from the University of Iowa, a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado.
