Stephen Lord is an accomplished technical professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Technical Director at Quantum since November 2003, Stephen has a strong background that includes a tenure as Principal Engineer at Silicon Graphics, where work focused on XFS and CXFS file systems for Irix and Linux, along with maintaining the Linux XFS file system. Prior to that, experience at Cray Research involved roles as Software Engineer and Software Developer, contributing to networking and file system kernel groups, as well as developing remote access software for Cray Mainframes. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester, earned between 1980 and 1983.
