Anthony H. began their professional career in 2002 at QuantumDigital, Inc., where they held the position of IT Director. During this role, they were the technical leader on mobile app development, and released the company's first mobile app on the iTunes App Store in early Spring 2012. Additionally, they assisted in growing, enhancing and optimizing the company's new Magento-powered website, QuantumPostcards. com. Anthony also served as Senior Systems Developer, where they collaborated with the senior DBA to overhaul the company's billing arrangement system. This included migrating existing data from Visual FoxPro tables to SQL Server, and assisting other developers in an advisory role in constructing a new wizard to manage customers' billing setups. Anthony also built an automated scrubbing mechanism that checked phone numbers of the company's 100+ million consumer database and wiped any matching phone numbers. As Systems Developer, Anthony H. created a "Do Not Mail" list feature, allowing customers to exclude specific addresses from their mailings. Anthony also built a new invoicing application for the Accounting department, transitioned invoices from plain-text format to PDF format using Crystal Reports, and transformed invoice delivery mechanism from USPS mail to automated digital delivery via email and web - thus saving paper. Anthony also integrated with external 3rd parties' APIs on some projects such as infoUSA, and interacted with their tech contacts to help bring those projects to fruition. In 2002, Anthony H. also held a part-time evening job at the Perry-Castaneda Library (PCL) while they were a 5th year senior at UT-Austin. During this role, they organized various library collateral (microfiche, cards, books, etc.) and occasionally helped students find stuff.
Anthony H. attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
