Aram Yang

Aram Yang is a seasoned professional in the field of electrochemical research and development, currently serving as Senior Director at QuantumScape since October 2012. In this role, Aram leads initiatives in Cathode R&D and has previously held positions as Consulting Member of Technical Staff, focusing on electrochemical stability and performance enhancements for automotive applications, as well as solid state battery research and the discovery of new liquid electrolytes. Prior to joining QuantumScape, Aram co-founded Recapping, Inc. and held various technical staff positions from September 2008 to October 2012. Aram holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2008, and a BA in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard University, earned in 2002.
