Benjamin Altieri

Benjamin Altieri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Benjamin is currently working at QuantumScape as the Technical Lead for Software Engineering. Prior to this, they held the position of Principal Software Engineer at the same company. In 2022, they worked as a Founding Fellow at Climatebase. From 2017 to 2021, Benjamin worked at Swift Navigation, first as an Embedded Software Developer and later as the Manager of Embedded Systems Software. Before that, they held the role of Embedded Systems Software Engineer at Berkeley Applied Analytics from 2016 to 2017. Benjamin also worked as an Embedded Software Developer on contract at Nexleaf Analytics from 2015 to 2016, and as a Systems Software Developer on contract at Spectra7 Microsystems during the same period. Prior to these roles, they worked as an Embedded Systems Developer at Incident from 2013 to 2015 and as a Senior Applications Engineer at Intersil from 2012 to 2013. Benjamin started their career as an Engineering Tech for Intersil at ZeroChaos from 2010 to 2012. Benjamin also gained research and teaching experience at UC Berkeley as a Research Trainee and an Undergraduate Student Instructor in 2008.

Benjamin Altieri attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2004 to 2009, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, Benjamin Altieri has obtained two certifications: "Leading and Working in Teams" from LinkedIn in April 2019 and "Agile at Work: Driving Productive Agile Meetings" from LinkedIn in March 2019.
